If you want to elope in Sedona, chances are, you’re not all about the spend and experience of a trad wedding. You couldn’t picture yourself getting married in a church and the idea of buying dinner for over 200 people who have barely been in your life since kindergarten is not the vibe. You want your wedding day to be an amazing experience for you and the 20 guests you’ve so intentionally invited.

Sedona is packed with gorgeous, scenic locations for couples who crave an authentic wedding day experience. The sunsets in Sedona are epic, the Red Rock formations are iconic, and you love that Sedona is a sacred destination for the spiritual community. But, you might not know how you want to experience Sedona for your elopement. Or maybe, you want to experience all of Sedona for your elopement.

The concept of a Tour de Sedona elopement came out of a very specific need. During the winter multiple locations in Sedona get super cold. And, some even close due to snow and inclement weather. Can you imagine rolling up to your elopement location in Sedona to be greeted by a roadblock that says “road closed”? Not exactly ideal, and yes, it’s happened. We thought, ‘there had to be a better way for our couples to experience all of Sedona while capturing every moment along the way.’
What is a Tour de Sedona Elopement Experience?
A Tour de Sedona elopement experience is all about chasing the sunset, catching the views, and photographing every moment along the way. Once you’ve recited your vows and your ceremony is over, you will be personally driven around to each location in Sedona experiencing every stop. The entire time, your elopement photographer will be on site with you to capture it all.

You don’t have to worry about trying to find parking at each location, and your Sedona elopement photographer will get dropped off on-site. You can sit back (literally) and enjoy the views. It’s a passenger princess moment for both of you accented by your wedding photography experience at Sedonas coveted hidden gem locations.
There’s no need for backpacks, hiking boots, or changing in and out of gear. It’s a little bougie, but it’s the best way to enjoy every beautiful landscape and piece of scenery Sedona has to offer, on the day of your wedding
Selecting Your Ceremony Location
The first stop of your Tour de Sedona elopement is your wedding ceremony. During the planning process, we’ll work with you in a collaborative way to find a location that fits your accessibility needs, as well as the needs of your guests.

Sedona adventure elopements are all about turning the dial-up on adventure. We’ll take the time to explore what’s most important to you. Is it an easy 10-minute walk to your ceremony location with a paved pathway? Or do you crave something a little more off the beaten path with a 20-minute walk on bumpy and rugged terrain? How about privacy? Is it important to you to get married away from prying eyes (tourists)? Or are you comfortable with the idea of planning your wedding at a well-known tourist location in Sedona – where tourists will more than likely record you?
What about inviting guests? There are two ways to experience a Tour de Sedona wedding with guests. How you choose to include them will factor into our collaborative effort of selecting your location.

The first option is for your guests to be by your side during your ceremony. We work with you to find a location that fits all of your guest’s accessibility needs. Will granny be coming, or any small children? If so, you’ll need to explore locations with a short walk and easy terrain. What about having a bathroom on-site, is that important? The answer to these questions will help us find an amazing location in Sedona for your elopement ceremony
Here’s the second option for experiencing your Tour de Sedona wedding with guests. On the morning of your wedding, your guests are present at your Airbnb as you get ready. Our skilled photographer is there, capturing every moment of your first look with Dad and all the pre-wedding energy in the room.

From there, you and your partner are off to experience your adventure wedding and Tour de Sedona. Once the sun has set and the photos have been captured, you’ll meet back up with your guests at the restaurant of your choosing for a wedding dinner celebration. You’ll go from ceremony to photos to enjoying the sunset and then directly to your dinner celebration. The day of your elopement will be dedicated to experiencing the beauty of Sedona as newlyweds.
